For the first October Wednesday, the CZ specialty gas team prepared a workshop for customers - professionals from the research and development laboratories, quality control laboratories and universities.
Our guests were informed about the specialty gas assortment and new trends. We presented the Genie cylinder suitable for laboratory applications, filled with high purity nitrogen, argon, and helium.
We showed to customers that we can flexibly react to increasing requirements both from the market and legislation, as, for example, the calibration gas mixture production in accordance with the Euro 6 legislation.
Next part of the workshop was focused on the Linde general priority - safety. Our visitors were trained in safe handling with pressure cylinders. An Inficon representative explained how to secure a safe workplace with the gas leakage detectors; he also demonstrated it in practice.
In the afternoon, we invited our guests to the specialty gas filling plant tour. In this way, the filling procedures and analytical methods of our accredited laboratory, including the traceability to the international metrological standards, were presented both in theory and in practice.
The last part was focused on the REDLINE® equipment – high purity gas regulators and distribution systems. What parameters are important while choosing the right pressure regulator, how to connect and purge the regulator and more practical information and instructions.
We spent with our customers a day dedicated to experience sharing and contact exchange. We were rewarded by their positive feedback; the participants mainly appreciated the practical examples, safety training, and, last but not least, the excursion in the specialty gas production and laboratory.
